The End

Well we caught the two male slaves that ran away. They were caught near a barn. The two girls that were with them were probably hiding in the barn but they got away!!!!! We almost caught the girls at the Abolitionist's home but they were hidden some where. Later on the two males escaped away. All we know is that they made it to Canada!!!!!!! Adam one of the slaves died a day after!YES! Awhile after the girls made it to freedom and went to live in St. Catherine.
The people I hired came back and reported to me. Mr.Rieley was extremly upset. He fired me. i went away but many people knew i was crule and didn't like me so the rest of my life was horrible.

Theme:Anger and Annoyance

Four slaves have escaped from my master's plantation. Two grown men and two little girls. One girl has a hunched back. We have found the two men that have escaped but the two girls slipped away. We caught the men in a grove of trees near a barn in the rushing water. We persumed that the girls were in the barn but they escaped under our noses! We even had the bloodhounds!!!

Theme: Cruelty to slaves.

This theme fits this story because of how I treat the slaves. If the slaves don't do as I say then I whip them to teach them a lesson. The slaves don't deserve freedom or any rights. This theme would not be in this book without me. The other slave owners don't treat the slaves as cruelly. If the slaves don't get any cruelty then they won't always obey their master, then they will try to become free like the boy with Mr.Fox. that is why cruelty to slaves is an important theme.
